This weekend Pete Seeger turns 90. I'm not a big fan of "folk song army" music. A column Ron Radosh wrote a few years ago didn't help my view very much - http://tinyurl.com/b63wqm
Anne is one of Dave's older sisters. They grew up in Dallas, TX, where the Parents still hang out.
DAVE is a graduate student in electrical engineering at Stanford. He also listens to a lot of music. Mostly classical and jazz. He can play it, too: piano, clarinet, mandolin, some guitar, the spoons, wax-paper-and-comb (instruments listed in order of skill level).
Life also includes a lot of cycling and white-water kayaking. And good music reviews, wherever they can be found now that the New York Sun is gone. Recent completion of Jay Nordlinger's book has him considering taking up golf.
ANNE is a rabbinic student at Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati. She is also in the Navy reserves, preparing to become a chaplain upon ordination. There's always plenty ro read.
